Decision on allocation of funds for financing projects of authorized organizations to provide free legal aid

17th March 2010. Croatian Ministry of Justice, pursuant to Article 38 and 39 Law on State Administration (Official Gazette: NN no. 75/93, 48/99, 15/00, 127/00, 59/01, 190/03, 199/03 and 79/07) has made a decision on allocation of funds for financing projects of NGOs authorized to provide free legal aid and law schools to work out of the clinic to provide free legal aid for 2010.


With this decision, the Minister of Justice, Ph.D. Ivan Šimonović, approved the funding to authorized NGO's and law schools to provide free legal assistance in the amount of 330,000.00 kuna. The said amount is allocated between 20 organizations and legal clinics authorized to provide free legal assistance that meet the requirements prescribed in Article 3 of Regulations on the criteria for evaluating projects, associations authorized to provide free legal aid and legal clinics and the method of reporting on the execution of projects (Official Gazette: NN no. 13/09 and 13/10).

NGO Judges Web, who is actively engaged in providing free legal aid since 12th February 2009. who entered in the Register of associations of the Ministry of Justice, when authorized to provide primary legal support, has meet the prescribed requirements, and in accordance to that funding for 2010. was approved to continue providing legal aid to Croatian citizens in exercising their legitimate rights.The act of signing a contract took place on 27th April 2010.
