Rijeka: Presentation of the Project of the High Commercial Court "Web Bankruptcy"

RIJEKA - The specialized web page "Web Bankruptcy" which posts public notices concerning the sale of assets in bankruptcy proceedings, provides lists of bankruptcy trustees and other information in the field of bankruptcy law under the jurisdiction of commercial courts was presented in Rijeka yesterday. The use of "Web Bankruptcy" will assist in decreasing costs of bankruptcy procedures, facilitate social informatization, contribute to the judicial reform and the process of bringing Croatia closer to the European standards, stated at the presentation Mario Vukelic, judge of the High Commercial Court who is also the creator of the project concept. As the most important menu on the page "Web Bankruptcy" Vukelic earmarked the one pertaining to the sale of assets in bankruptcy procedures because it offers integral texts of published notices, value estimates and photographs of assets that are being sold. The web page also offers basic information on the bankruptcy procedure, overview of bankruptcy regulations, examples from judicial practice, expert articles and court addresses. The list of bankruptcy trustees, besides the addresses, also contains their business references so, as it was said, this will enable judges to more easily select a trustee among the total of 485 bankruptcy trustees in Croatia.
