Officially signed Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of interior and Judges web
20th October 2009 – Officially signed Cooperation Agreement between the
Ministry of interior and Judges web. Cooperation relates to the implementation
of two projects: „Digitalization of instructions and guidelines for police“ and
„Online police stations“. Implementation of these projects will be ensured
thanks to financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of
the Netherlands. Agreement has been signed by Minister Tomislav Karamarko and
president of the Judges Web Dražen Komarica in the presence of the Ambassador of
Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Nienke Trooster.
The idea for this
project was created a year ago based on European Commission Annual progress
report on Croatia which indicated a necessity for greater transparency in public
administration. Project „Digitalization of instructions and guidelines for
police“ will help to all employees of Ministry of interior to easily and quickly
access information required for performing their everyday tasks. The impact of
this project will be essential in reducing the administrative burden and
improving the efficiency of work. Project „Online police stations“ will provide
citizens with detailed and useful information on police stations in a modern way
and in accordance with the world standards.
Signed Agreement is an
example of the cooperation between state bodies and organizations of civil
society which largely contributes to the development of modern democratic
society.
